How To Use
On its own, or after your cleansing oil. Massage a quarter-sized amount over damp face, neck, and chest for 1–3 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
The smell of this cleaner is divine! You can tell it’s made with natural ingredients from the fresh botanical scent. It’s a great creamy cleanser, so it’s not one that foams up.
Gentle on my skin
Hi, I actually haven't tried the French Clay Refining Cleanser yet because I think I may have bought it mistakenly, not realizing that it's meant for combination/oily skin. I'm 71 and have aging skin on the dryer side, and I'm concerned that if I use the French Clay Refining Cleanser, that it will be too drying. Once not too long ago I used a clay mask and it really dried out my skin. Do you have any recommendations as to whether this is the right cleanser for my skin type?
I LOVE the French Clay Refining Cleanser!! I noticed that my skin had been getting rough, and nothing seemed to help. I even thought about going outside the Bamboo Earth line and getting some type of scrub or trying the facial wash with charcoal. But just in the nick of time, the French Clay came out and I am loving it. It doesn't dry my skin out and it doesn't make it too oily, either. It's a perfect balance with ingredients that also make my skin smooth. Thank you so much for such a great product!!

It smells nice, it’s not oily or scrubby. I was hoping it was a bit more gritty but it’s very smooth so I don’t think it will really exfoliate like I thought it would. Other than that it’s great.

I love clays for skincare (and haircare) and I've always wanted DIY a clay wash, but never got to it. So I was really excited to try this and I was not disappointed! It leaves my skin feeling very clean, but not stripped. It has french clay, which is one of my favorite clays! There are also some oils in the cleanser and I'm thinking that probably helps prevent the cleanser from being too drying.
Overall, a gentle cleanser. Btw, my skin is mostly normal, with a the t-zone being a little oily.

I was impressed. It lifts excess oil and buildup really well and gives you a light exfoliation, so my skin feels smooth and clean after. No tight feeling afterwards, which is a big plus for me. Would definitely recommend
